ABOUT NASPORT

NASPORT Championship Series is designed to fill the gap between SCCA Club Racing and SCCA Pro Racing. The series offers West Coast SCCA GT Class racer the opportunity to participate in highly competitive events in the SCCA Southern and Northern Pacific Divisions.

Vehicles in the NASPORT Series are similar to the original SCCA Trans-Am “Under 2.5 Liter Challenge,” being GT and Sedan models based on the SCCA GT-3 and GT-4 rules.

NASPORT cars are powered by production-based engines that have been modified for performance and durability. The top class GT3 cars use engines that displace between 2.0 and 2.4 liters and typically produce about 250 bhp, enough to power them to competitive speeds on the track. The GT4 cars use engines that displace between 1.6 and 2.0 liters and develop about 200 bhp.
